Covenant Overview:
Vampires are damned creatures of G-d, but that damnation gives them purpose. Vampires exist because G-d wills it. Vampires serve G-d as his dark monsters. Longinus, a vampire prophet, was shown the purpose vampires by an Angel of G-d, and all vampires should follow his teachings.

Covenant Philosophy:
Vampires are damned by G-d to show the evils of turning from His will. As G-d's dark monsters, vampires are not to hide from themselves what they are, but are to embrace their dark purpose. They are the hunters of humanity, not their friends: "as wolves among sheep". Some proactively attempt to drive humanity towards G-d, or to cull the wicked, while others simply view their existence as proof enough of the dangers of turning from Him. Sanctified believe that as vampires, acting as vampires, they do G-d's will.

Covenant Tenants:
G-d spoke to Longinus through his Angel in order to make the purpose of vampires clear. One: Damnation has purpose, to show the evils of turning from G-d. Two: Vampires are predators of humanity, and this is a natural role. Three: There is an hierarchy in the world, and as humanity are above beasts, vampires are above humanity, and G-d is above all. Four: With power comes limitation: vampires hide among humanity so when they do show themselves the fear is all the greater, and to create another vampire or to destroy one utterly is a grave sin. Five: A vampire's body is not their own, but belongs to G-d; sunlight and fire burn a vampire's flesh because G-d wills it, and food and drink are not to be consumed.

There are different Creeds among the Sanctified, who interpret these basic beliefs somewhat differently and apply them somewhat differently; however, all valid (non-heretical) creeds agree that these are the basic laws of G-d, in regards to vampires.

In this Domain, there are three main creeds currently in effect: Exotheist (Modern non-Christian), Monachal (traditional and steep in Christianity), and Dammitic (Jewish).
